I think it was a fair trade. I value a good , solid QB more than a couple of average 2nd rounders. Most 2nd round picks project out as average starters. Not stars.

14 wins over two years when you factor in the fact that four of the other 18 games are against God himself at QB, another four against a divisional opponent who could have won a SB had it not been for an idiot running an INT back and has been a fairly solid team for a decade in addition to this year's tough schedule back-to-back 7-9 seasons would be a miracle. It would be a miracle and it would be the product of young players developing like we saw with Carr/Flowers/Albert/Berry/Hali/Houston/Charles/Bowe.

Any Chiefs fan that wouldn't take 14-18 over two years after the debacle that was Pioli is lying.

That's the point. 7-9 last year against what amounted to a weak schedule combined with 7-9 this year against one of the toughest (and I believe this will bear out by season's end) would pretty much prove progression as a team.
