Who has the best chance of knocking Denver out of the postseason?

The Chiefs suck right now obviously which unfortunately I've gotten used to. I've got a bad feeling the Donks are going on a run. If they won a super bowl it might force me to step away from the NFL for awhile. The late 90s Super Bowls were disgusting enough. Another championship from those bastards might do some serious damage to my mental health. Seriously talk me off the ledge. Who will be the team to bring out Peyton Mannings postseason choke jobs?

I think the bottom line, barring upsetss, is NE is a favorite in Foxboro and Denver would be the favorite in Denver.

It's just infuriating the how things go Denver's way. Demarcus Ware was supposed to be a broke dick on the downside of his career, all the sudden he signs with the Donks and it magically turns back the clock on his career 5 years. FML!

yep. I've never seen shit go a teams way like it does Denvers, they don't have to deal with a single negative and if they do it's magically resolved in seconds.

I don't see that. Denver's safeties and ILB's are nowhere near as good as Seattle's.
Seattle still has Avril, Bennett and Irvin too.

Not to mention they have the best C, one of the best G's and one of the best LT's in the league to pound the rock to Beast mode. Remember Poe didn't do much of anything vs Seattle until Unger got hurt.

I still think Seattle is the best team and would beat Denver. We barely beat them

They're an organization with high aspirations. They typically do things that put them in a spot to win. I wish the Chiefs were that.

And I have to laugh at the Pack fan, whose organization went from Favre to Rodgers lamenting the "luck" of the Broncos.

Yeah but even shit doesn't go the Packers way like it does for them, they never have any season killing injuries, suspensions, nothing. I would be ashamed to be a bronco fan if the league held our hand like that.

Ware was a 9 year veteran last year, and missed 3 games in 2013 meaning that he had started 137 of 141 games as a Cowboy.

2013 was his lowest sack total since his rookie year, and he was a double digit sack guy the other 7 seasons.

In his first 8 seasons in Dallas, he played as a LB and in that final season he was moved to DE - which is what he plays now in Denver.

So, he gets dropped by Dallas - mostly viewed as a bad idea by everyone.

Denver signs him and everyone says he's broken and torn up. Maybe it's because I live in Dallas and was more familiar with Ware, but at the time, I thought it was a hell of a signing as did many Cowboys fans (most didn't like him being gone).

It's not like they took a 37 year old DE and are somehow getting him to produce.

I think the AFC is more wide open than people think.

I think the NFC is down to either GB or Seattle

They lost to the Rams, they're not an unsinkable ship.

I think it's obvious that Ware got Welker's PED hookup.

As I recall the local media in Dallas was calling it a good move because JJ had a bad habit of hanging on to good players for too long and they needed to clear cap space. JJ finally got it through his thick skull that the Cowboys were not a player or two away from a Super Bowl and they needed to clear cap space if they were going to try to rebuild. The signing was a risky move by Denver at the time, but the upside was too great not to take a chance.

Please define "season killing injury or suspension". The only one I can think of is the 2011 Colts. The 2008 Patriots still went 11-5, and the 2013 Packers still made the playoffs.

So, if you aren't a Colts fan, you should be ashamed of how the league holds your hand.
