0:53 - Great read and tackle on the WR screen.
1:43 - Gets beat on a fly route to the endzone, can't keep up so he hold's the WR's jersey; luckily doesn't get flagged. 2:50 - Looks like shit trying to defend a punt return. Toub won't like that. 4:48 - CB Blitz... he gets to Winston and pulls up on the pump fake, instead of making a big hit. Good job forcing the early throw, though. 5:17 - Great coverage; follows up the PBU with at throat slash motion. Should have been 15 yards. 6:45 - Whiffs on an open field tackle of Winston, because he was trying to make a big hit. He instead gives up the first down. Very Bernard Pollard-esque. 6:55 - ****ING DESTROYS the WR. Probably gets a flag for defenseless receiver in the NFL. Sometimes you need that aggression though. I liked it.

He's really solid technique wise. I tend to lean towards Peters because of more physical upside, but he's got some offf field issues.

At least you don't have a center in round 1 in this edition. Food for thought... Andy Reid's starters in Philadelphia were 2 UDFAs (Hank Fraley, Jamaal Jackson) and a 6th Round pick (Jason Kelce) at center. He simply doesn't put that kind of priority on the center position.
I'm pretty well keyed in on Johnson as my favorite pick for the 1st round. Kid does most everything well. |

I like Johnson a lot too. But with this regime I'm just seeing a fatty at 18 unfortunately.

So, you wouldn't take Trae Waynes if he's there at 18?

Waynes is likely a Top 10 pick.

Why are you mocking guys without measurables? If there is any trend to Dorsey's picks, it is measurables- size, speed, etc.

I completely agree, and I absolutely do mock guys with impressive measurables 90% of the time.
Dorsey's drafts haven't been ALL measureables-obsessive, but they've been very close. |

Anyone see the Chiefs trading down with someone later in the 1st? Maybe trade 1's and get an extra 3?

The manner in which the Chiefs have handled this off season and free agency, I would expect them to trade up more than to trade down.

Me and you both have Daryl Waud in the sixth round. Excellent choice.
