I was 9 but did not follow football at all and if I had I would have probably been rooting for the other team at that point (I am 1/4 Swede so for a young kid of course I thought the Vikings were cool).

Now if you ask if I remember the collapse of the Cubs at the end of 69 when the "Amazin' Mets" won the penant, yes I remember that too well. What I get for having a baseball fan for a mother and living in Chicago at the time.

Worst part about being alive and watching the game was it was the FIRST Super Bowl I watched as a kid and I wound up liking the Chiefs! So 46 years of pain.

This! Watched both on my black and white TV ... think it was 19" but could've been smaller. I know I watched the first one on NBC and I think there were still 2 broadcasts for the fourth and since I was loyal to the AFL of course NBC???

Yeah, the Jets won the year before, but I personally think our win gave the AFL the credibility we needed.

Hank learned some things after playing against Vince in the first and things were different in the second.
