KD should stay in OKC. That roster is excellent and he's got a good coach.

Can't see LeBron leaving again. He only signed the short deal in the first place because he knew how big the cap would get this off season. He has Kyrie and the couch he wants in Cleveland too... Oh and they just won.

Apparently the 76'ers are drafting Ben Simmons #1 and told him that today according to Windhorst.

I've heard that Ingram is automatically the next guy to go (Lakers), but that Buddy Hield killed it in his pre-draft workout in Los Angeles on Saturday. Any chance they draft him instead?

I think the rumored trade of Nerlens Noel to the Celtics for the #3 (and then take PG of the future Kris Dunn) makes a lot of sense. Dunn, Saric, Simmons, Okafor and Embiid (obviously if healthy) not a bad group of young players.

Is Noel really worth the 3?

I'm not a Philly fan so I haven't watched them really at all but my recollection was that the guy had no offensive game at all to speak of. Has he polished it up there?

I figured something like Clarkson for Noel might work but if the '6ers can get the #3 for him, that's obviously a better return. I figured they'd be stuck looking more in the late lottery range given their pretty poor negotiating position and his questionable offensive role.

Not sure. Can be an elite defender, but offense isn't there yet.

I think it's possible that the Lakers look to trade Russell for a top 5 pick that they then use on Hield but I can't see them spending #2 on him. Ingram's just a far FAR superior long-term prospect.

Hield's upside is Klay Thompson; a great set shooter with passable handles and court vision. Ingram's upside is Anthony Davis. Neither one of them are likely to approach that level, but Ingram just presents far more versatility and while Hield can be an exceptional complementary piece, I don't think he can be a cornerstone player. Ingram could be and the Lakers cannot pass on that possibility.

That reminds me of those comparing Simmons to LeBron earlier in the year, except Ingram to Davis is even worse (they aren't similar in any aspect of their game).
