Draft one, invest in one who's not a damn long shot to begin with.

Who the **** cares anymore. People always say this shit. Scouts didn't love Carr, Wilson or Prescott but here we ****ing are.
If a rookie is mobile and doesn't turn the ball over then that's Alex Smith at 3% of the price tag. I'd gladly take that from a rookie. that alone will helps us so much with the cap

I feel like neg repping anyone who votes to sign or trade for Tony Romo. Same with anyone who wants to keep Alex Smith.

**** sticking the course with Alex. I'm not sure what the Chiefs see in him Monday-Saturday, but he's more AIDS than cure on Sundays.

Yeah, like the Chiefs are going to draft and start a QB. Our people can't find a Brady or Went, they just aren't smart enough.

They will never draft a QB, so it's all moot.

Hate it to break it to you folks but Smith is with the team through next year. Either buckle up and try to enjoy the ride or stop watching

Don't worry, Romo would pull a Manning and tell Clark/the Chiefs, "Don't call me, I'll call you" (then go to Denver), you'll be fine there. As for not playing Alex ****ING Smith, she's their girl, so he'll be here a LOT longer. |

For the love of God please stop thinking a 5th or 6th round QB is going to magically roll into town and lead us to glory.
We had our chances to get guys and never did it. Go out and spend a 1st round pick on an elite guy if he's out there. It's legitimately the ONE thing we don't have. |

Draft and develop QB. Smith can be the caretaker.
Trading for Smith was fine, maybe even smart just to get back to a comfortable level of competence at the position that can hold the fort down, but to make him your QB of the future and attempt to build a team around him that can win it all is a long shot plan due to the limitations at the QB position itself. You also have to be better than most of the league at drafting and developing most other positions to make up for your deficiency at the most important position. Yes it can be done, but so many things have to go just right for it to work starting with a top 5 Defense minimum. Theres basically no margin for error. |
