The only thing worse than losing to the Browns this year would be

To lose to the only team that got beat by the Browns

Go Chiefs beat the Chargers

Sweep the division

Chiefs need to use this as motivation.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

While I get the premise, I think the answer would be:

To be the Browns.

This game scares the **** outta me. It would be a Chiefs like thing to come out and play like shit and lose. A week off to get ready if they win is on the line. That is if Denver beats the Raiders. I can see it happening. The Chiefs come out flat with no emotion and get beat. It's what they do. I've seen it too many times before.

Me too. There are story lines here that I haven't heard much about that could be a factor. This could be the last game the Chargers play in San Diego. There will be some big emotions and a drive to give the Sand Diego fans something to cheer for and remember the good times.

I don't see the Chargers packing it in. The Chiefs better come to play.

I don't see the purpose of San Diego even having a team they don't support them. I mean hard to fill a stadium with dozens of fans.
No, it's hard to fill a stadium when you spend years threatening to leave town and effectively ensuring that fans will emotionally divest themselves.

I lived in San Diego 15 years ago. They had good fans that showed up and were even decent tailgaters. This isn't on them.
