LDT worse than we thought

Laurent Duvernay-Tardif - G - Chiefs

Chiefs RG Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (fibula, I.R.) also suffered a Maisonneuve fracture in his leg Week 5 and is now in doubt to return in 2018.
Coach Andy Reid admitted the injury is worse than the team initially thought; LDT was expected to be a return candidate in a minimum of eight weeks. His season is now in jeopardy. A Maisonneuve fracture is a spiral fracture in the fibula associated with a tear of the interosseous membrane.

I think our Oline is a little over-rated due to Mahomes pocket awareness and escapability.

Our run game isn't mashing anyone over up the middle.
There are some plays where the defense rushes 3 and our Oline gives Pat plenty of time in the pocket, but there seem to be far more plays where Pat is just a badass in the pocket.

He's never played an entire 16 games. He missed 2 games in 2016, 5 games last year, and probably the rest of the season this year.

This is why I didn't feel sorry for San Diego and all their bad luck with injuries, because I knew the same shit was bound to happen here. Almost every big contract we sign guarantees the player will be injured the majority of the time. It makes you appreciate the iron Man types like Mitchell Schwartz.

I'll never feel bad for a team that has injuries, because I can't remember the last time we didn't have one of our top players injured and out for the season.

Mahomes does in fact make the line look better than it is.

LDT was accomplished as a pass protector and stabilized the inside pass rush.

Now, that is a concern to me.

I'm worried this will end with Erik Flowers on the chiefs.

I agree, the Doc has been flat out pancaking his guy. Check out the 2 TDs by Hunt in the Denver game.

Posts like this are so ****ing stupid. How do you know that they ****ed anything up at all with the information at hand? This happens all the time where an injury is worse than initially thought. You know after they actually do an X-ray or MRI.
