Look for a marginal player already on the roster that can block. We made Boomer Grigsby a FB, McKenzie a G, Tyler Palko a Q -- nevermind. Why not try Kpass 6'7"/289 a shot? Surely his hands can't be any worse than Harris's. Don't forget we have David Wells and Deon Yelder as TEs now.

I'd bet Jones or that pick Saunders would block his ass off if you'd toss him a pass every game or two. DL will do ANYTHING to get to play offense every once in a while.

Saunders actually had a rushing TD and a receiving TD in college. I’m all for a Jones wildcat pass to Saunders!

KPass at TE would be interesting tbh. I actually like this idea.

Honestly, I think that's the wrong way to look at it.
New England traded a 4th to Chicago for Martellus Bennett and a 6th in 2016 and he had 55 catches for 700 yards and 7 TDs because Gronk happened to get hurt that year. Bennett was every bit as productive in Chicago as Rudolph in Minnesota, so flipping a 5th for him or something is hardly not worth it. I suggested, basically, trading a 2nd for Trae Waynes at CB and trying to get Rudolph as part of the package. That would help the Vikings cap situation immensely and give KC 2 huge pieces they need. |
