Anything you won’t buy online?
I saw a commercial for Carvana and it was talking about well they are doing. I would never buy a new car online and just have it delivered. It got me thinking what other items wouldn’t be good for online purchases. Without including store shopping and comparing then buying online for something simple like a game or something, what are some things you wouldn’t buy online?

I was thinking the same thing on the carvana ad. But they offer a seven-day return period. If that's the case, then I would consider it. I'd need to return more than one, though, before I bought, so it would be inefficient. Different cars drive differently even if they're the same year, make, and model.

I'll generally try to support local business first, so I'd rather buy in person. But if I had no local businesses, the only thing that would cause me hesitation is clothing, and only from brands that I don't already own. I buy Nike shoes all the time online, but it's only because I know my Nike size and they're consistent. But I wouldn't buy Reeboks online since I don't have any pairs of Reeboks already on hand.

Furniture of any kind including a mattress or bed.

I need to see, touch, sit, feel quality level and make sure comfortable before I buy.

Hard to imagine getting a big piece of furniture and the not liking it. What a pain in the ass that must be.

Cars (I need to inspect the engine/drivetrain) and hear the motor run.

Boots. I do a lot of hiking up and down canyons/mountains for hunting and fishing and I have to put boots on to make sure they fit absolutely correctly.

Fresh Produce/meat. Tried the delivery thing for a month and found that the quality of what was delivered varied too much for me.

Hunting rifles. Have to see how it mounts to my shoulder, feel the action, look into the camber, etc. Can't do that stuff online, and I won't spend real money on a hunting rifle without doing those things.
