I'll throw my right nut in there. It's not like Goff is elite and when you are average to above average at a position you're going to get more than the guy before you, unless of course that guy is clearly the best. When Mahomes gets paid , the next guy won't get more than him.

Mahomes is going to get $200 over 5 years, if not less years, the question is how much is going to be guaranteed. $170M????
Goff just got 82% guaranteed.

No! That can't be! After that Shady deal, I was just so mad! Then we didn't use THAT money on Mahomes?!? No corners, no Mahomes, what's next?!?

Can't wait to see how much chiefs have to pay Mahomes. Hopefully the deal will be struck before the wheels inevitably start falling off.

Hmmm, I wonder if Mahomes wants to wait until after the new CBA? Maybe with the new CBA contracts will be fully guaranteed, but does that even matter to Mahomes since he's going to get all that money whether it's guaranteed or not.

Just because you heard a new word today doesn't mean you can randomly throw it in a sentence. I'm glad you learned a new word and all, but look up the definition inevitably.

I think the smart thing to do financially for Mahomes is to sign several 3-4 year deals so he can keep increasing the amount he makes because of how the cap works.

If the Chiefs offered him $380m for 10 years and $280m of it was fully guaranteed, I think he would have a really hard time saying no to this...especially after watching how things played out for Andrew Luck. |

Or just take 15 percent of the cap. Fully guaranteed.
