He's certainly better than Cousins under pressure.

small sample size and all of that, but he's mentally and physically tough as hell. He just stands in there and takes the beating to deliver the ball.

He's been impressive.

It was the old Derrick Johnson / Marcus Mariota rule

One of the announcers in the Packers game made a good point about this. Since Moore wasn't here for training camp and only a week of practice (two now), he has had almost no work on red zone plays. With the limited practice time available now, there just isn't time to get everything in and get the extra time to get the timing down on those plays.

He's been a great backup for these 3 games, but lets not get too carried away. He got dropped in the middle of a stacked offense with playmakers everywhere.

The longer he plays, i'm guessing he'd get a bit exposed and he's not a starter anymore. Perfect backup though.

I've seen enough of Henne that it seems obvious that Moore is the guy we should want backing up PM the rest of the way. Doesn't mean we think he can win a SB in Pat's place...just means he has a few of the physical skills necessary to fight for wins if - God forbid - PM misses any more time. I think he could actually win...or maybe not lose...a first round/WC playoff game for us if he was placed in that situation. He at least looked better than Cousins on Sunday.

Moore is better than Henne.

That's why he ended Henne's career as a starter in Miami. He's ALWAYS been better.

If we don't recover his fumbles it's a very different narrative.

Shit still pisses me off. Not a single ref ever ruled that forward progress until that day. Practically every QB sack up the middle would be called that way. Such a horseshit made up call.

I'm glad it was Matt Moore and not Chad Henne. I think Henne would have ****ed it up.

Did Andy Reid go sit beside Matt Moore any during the game when Defense was on the field like he does Patrick Mahomes?

They are pretty much the same guy. But now that Moore has proved what he can do, is rather just stick with him as the backup.
