Brandon Staley is a stupid stupid person

The idiot has a team of injury prone players and some of these injury prone players are pretty good. He decides to play his starters with nothing to gain and guess what?

Two of those good injury prone players got hurt. Mike Williams hurt his back and had to be carted to the locker room. Joey Bosa was just brought off IR and guess what? It looks like he hurt his groin lmao.

You'd think Staley would think maybe go pull his starters? Nope. They're losing 31-20 in the 4th and apparently he'd rather his starters be the ones to lose.

Hopefully this doesn't get him fired and allows them to bring in Sean Payton.

The single biggest difference between the Chiefs and Chargers is Reid vs Staley.

They could’ve gone into the Wildcard Round fresh and healthy playing a Jacksonville team that just had to fight for their season.

Now, they’ve killed their momentum with this performance. Taken the work of another game. Suffered injuries.

Even if they beat the Jags, their reward is a trip to Arrowhead against the Chiefs off a bye. The Chargers haven’t had a week off since Week 8.

Some of these younger coach guys are much too cocky.

They coach like they’re invincible and not with their brains.

Williams' departure was particularly notable, as the team's top vertical threat was carted to the locker room and ruled questionable to return with a back injury. The receiver made four catches before limping off, then receiving attention in the team's sideline medical tent. Williams, who battled a lingering ankle issue earlier this season, initially walked off the field under his own power but appeared much less mobile leaving the cart to actually enter the locker room. It's possible his availability for the Chargers' first playoff game in Jacksonville is now in jeopardy.

Bosa, meanwhile, was just activated off injured reserve ahead of Week 17 and may have aggravated his groin, which required surgery and kept him sidelined for much of the 2022 season. The Pro Bowler was also battling an illness ahead of game day.

Herbert did not officially sustain an injury in the contest but took a hard shot to the midsection during the first half, when the Chargers and Broncos played to a 17-17 stalemate. Linebacker Kenneth Murray also appeared to briefly suffer an injury, per ProFootballTalk, but did not leave the game or receive an official designation from the team.

This idiot tried so hard to win that game for no good reason until he realized they were going to lose anyway in the 4th quarter. He then pulled Herbert and will now pretend like they were never trying to win the game anyway.
