Rookie minicamp starts today

Who do you like? Who's on the first Greyhound out of town?

https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2023/...ed-player-list

As a reminder, Kansas City has seven draft picks who are expected to participate:

EDGE Felix Anudike-Uzomah
Wide receiver Rashee Rice
Offensive lineman Wanya Morris
Defensive back Chamarri Conner
EDGE BJ Thompson
Defensive tackle Keondre Coburn
Cornerback Nic Jones

There will be many signed undrafted free agents, along with “camp invites” (tryouts) in attendance — and we will pass those along when we have them on Saturday.

Here is a quick list of the reported undrafted free agents:

Grand Valley State OL Quinton Barrow
Tennessee OL Jerome Carvins
Texas DB Anthony Cook
Indiana DL Demarcus Elliott
Appalachian State OL Anderson Hardy
Tarleton State OL Blake Haynes
Indiana LB Cam Jones
Harvard DL Truman Jones
Missouri S Martez Manuel
Marshall safety Isaiah Norman
Tulsa RB Deneric Prince
Fresno State WR Nikko Remigio
Missouri WR Ty Scott
Purdue CB Reese Taylor
Merrimack DB Anthony Witherstone

Our fullbacks rarely get any snaps, just use Bell when we need some beef back there

Has anyone ever done a QB sneak with a fullback? I think we could be the first.

I think between Andy & Patrick, the rules change to focus on passing the FB position is going the way of the dodo bird. I wouldn't be surprised if FB & TE position were merged into a hybrid.

FBTE?

I foresee moving a tight end to full back. Imagine bell back there 10x through the season then the 4th quarter of a tie game kelce takes the spot with mckinnon behind him. Both take off on a route to opposite sides. Some line backer goes cross eyed and mvs catches a wide open 40 yard toss to the red zone.

Unless you're going to use the FB as a bowling ball type blocker, I agree. We have 2 TEs on the roster (besides the 4 we carried last year) that are good size. Blanton is 6'6", 262 lbs and Bushman is 6"5", 245. I love the TE in motion wham block.

When Brett Veach told Andy Reid he did not have a Fullback for him, Andy said this -

Quote:
“Are you telling me for the last 24 years, I did not have to have a Fullback? I’ll tell you, it’s awesome. I’m not sure it’s completely settled in… we all know that it’s not a one-man show. It takes a team together. Not just the players, not just the coaches, everybody. But not having to have a fullback, think of the things I can do with the plays. This is going to be tremendous!”
