Fits the Veach MO, does he not?

LeSean McCoy
LeVeon Bell
Dalvin Cook

Veach would do this deal and never look back.

The goal needs to bet to get Pacheco to December/January in one piece. The guy runs like he's shot out of a cannon and we're lucky he finished the season with his injuries.

Pack the RB room. No spot is being taken by a fullback anymore. Split carries 50/50 with Clyde early on, if Dalvin's in the room even better. Keep Pacheco in a 50/50 timeshare until we need him to plow the Bills, Bengals, Chargers and our playoff opponents in December and January.

You want to give Pacheco 20 carries a game for 17 weeks and just pray he's healthy for the playoffs?

Dude was patched together with duct tape in the Super Bowl.

Take the load way off Pacheco until December.

Agreed. As much as I like Pacheco, his running style is not conducive to a long, healthy career. He runs angry and embraces contact vs trying to avoid it. To get the most out of him his workload has to be managed.

Patched together with duct tape?

The way the guy played, nobody had any inkling the guy was even injured.

He was dinged up, not patched together with ****ing duct tape. Jesus Christ.

I guess Brett Favre was what? Was he in traction for his career by your drama queen damage scale?

It's still a violent sport. You're expected to actually play football, ALL THE TIME, to get paid the hilarious salary that is paid to play a game for a living.

Pacheco is a ****ing man's man, laced his cleats up a little tighter and helped secure a championship, and got his dings fixed in the offseason.

Pacheco had all of those injuries… which yes he effectively played through… despite only being the Chiefs RB1 for about half a season last year.

Pacheco as RB1 for a full season with his punishing running style?

Having solid depth would be beneficial.

Have you had a broken hand before. Have you had a torn labrum.

Would you classify them as dings. Or would you classify them as injuries.

Nothing more admirable than this right here......but looking way ahead....how do you pay a player that will run through a wall no matter how many bruises he takes in the process?

We have McKinnon, dude.

I don't want to see Clyde in a Chiefs uniform ever again. He steals big plays from other players.

Um, based just on who is actually on the roster, Clyde is about 99% certain to play at least some snaps in 2023. It's literally Pacheco, Jerrick and then CEH.

that is a good point about stealing plays from other players. How many times have we seen gaping holes but since he's slower than most offensive lineman he just cannot get to those holes where if any other RB was in it would be a 15+ yard gain instead of his 1 yard loss to 1 yard gain.

Coming off shoulder surgery IIRC. I'd do it on a one-year prove-it type deal. Dude has to understand that the days of paying RB's big money are over.

Cook and Zeke are on the market. Definitely becoming a worse era for RBs. 30 used to be the magic number for RBs, but these two are only 27.

Maybe 30 used to be the magic number for elite RB's, but isn't the average something like 4 years?
