pretty decent chance the broncos will need to win that game to get in

I don't think there is any reason why Andy would rest the starters for the Steelers....and Denver is fighting for playoff seeding, so it's unlikely they rest in week 18

Denver would be stupid to play for seedings if they already qualify. They could treat week 18 as a BYE like the Chiefs did last season.

Denver shouldn't care whether they play at Buffalo, Baltimore, or Pittsburgh. I suppose they could finish at #5 but unlikely as they lost to Baltimore. The AFC North loser will be the #5 seed.

But they still could play at Houston if the chips fall for them...that's way better than facing Buffalo or Pittsburgh. They won't play Baltimore

Both the Steelers and Ravens beat Denver and own the tiebreaker. I don't see Denver finishing #5 ahead of those teams.

Denver always plays us tough but with extra rest, that should be an easier matchup for the Chiefs than playing at Pittsburgh on little rest.

I'm just worried about seeing injuries on Christmas against a physical team. We had a later BYE than these other teams.

You don't think Denver wouldn't LOVE to play spoiler to us getting HFA?

Depends on what the Broncos do against the Bengals, and also what the Colts do. It’s possible for the Broncos to be left out at 9-8.

I wouldn’t plan for Denver to be resting.

Just win your game and it doesn’t matter.

Think there is a good chance they would play for seeding regardless. I am guessing few teams would want to go to Buffalo. The other teams look more appealing.

That's ridiculous - You don't put your 1 seed odds on 1 game . We all know that Anything can happen against the Broncos and they would LOVE to play spoilers ..

I really don't think our guys like how last Christmas played out and will play like it. We aren't going 0-2 on Christmas.
