AFC West has to be the division with the best coaches, right? Andy, Harbaugh, Payton, and now potentially a gifted player caller in Ben Johnson...

If the Bears wanted Johnson, they would have already extended him an offer since they interviewed him earlier this week. Seems like they want an experienced head coach, unlike Eberflus.

No QB with the Raiders, no viable path to get a franchise-caliber QB this offseason... and playing in a division with the Chiefs + two other playoff teams.

Ben Johnson should regret turning down the Washington job last offseason.

There are paths to relevance in the NFL.

Joining the one team in the AFC West that has NOTHING at the QB position ain't among 'em.
Having nothing at QB is likely the draw... he gets to hand-pick his guy (to an extent). Jacksonville and Chicago already have their guy.

I would disagree, sort of. I think his sources are agents, but they basically use him as their propaganda stooge. Think back to how he covered Chris Jones, or the fact that the Andy Reid retirement "rumors" ended up with Andy getting a raise.
