Jamarraaallllll basically got us 10 free points against New Orleans.
We can't count on that every week. QB has to make some ****ing plays past 20 yards. For ****'s sake, our longest pass play was a screen.

I say we win football games and still draft a QB in the first. By the looks of it, there could be 5-6 QB's that are good enough to have a 1st round grade.
Lose and get Smith or win and get Murray.. I'm ok with either or. |

I doubt he fires Poili but I'd be shocked if the Chiefs didn't make a legitimate attempt to acquire a Franchise QB in the first round. |

It seems to me that Pioli has proven he was not the brains behind N.E.'s success. Most of his draft picks are highly suspect. The front office seems to be focused upon issues that are not related to winning. The Steelers are constant winners and they have an open locker room policy, so to try and bring N.E. lite to K.C. was a big mistake. Before I read the articles in the Star last week, I had already come to the conclusion that Pioli will not produce a winning SB team. I like RAC but IMHO he will not be a SB winning coach. So, why waste time? I think the word is not "tank" because that implies doing it deliberately ... no team will do that. I find myself conflicted. Like yesterday, in the heat of the battle of watching the game I was pulling for them to make the plays and thus, win the game. But, in reality it is going to take plenty of losses to convince Clark that there needs to be a change. So, I'm hoping for a lot of losses. I started following the team when Lamar formed the AFL. Was proud to be in KC and root for them in the first SB and the win in IV. But, there have been too many years of what appears to be of the team wanting profits way more than to win another SB. And, yes, I want to see Cassel gone. Yes, he is a great guy, but not a winning NFL QB. Well, let me back up ... now as long as Pioli is here it aint gonna happen, but ... if they can draft/trade/find a real NFL QB, Cassel will make a nice back up QB. |

The fact that we made an attempt, albeit a weak one, to get Manning shows that Pioli and Clark are ready for a new QB.
