Andrew Brandt ‏- Manning Cap number is unamortized portion of 20M bonus - 16M - minus credit for nonexercised option proration - 5.4M - to equal 10.4M

Agreed, but primarily for the first reason. Players only go to Washington for the money. They don't go for football. That's the problem with an owner like Snyder. See Haynesworth, Albert.

And in the end thats all that matters. but here is the thing this ****ing media ppl need to consider, the Dolphins don't have the cap space. How the **** are they going to sign
Peyton?
I don't know anything about cap space, but I think the Dolphins have less of a chance of winning than the Chiefs, and I think Manning is competitive enough that his decision will be based more on that than stuff like weather or money.

Are they competitive? I'm not seeing it that much.

Good competitive team, but I agree with your reason. X and O guys don't play for Rex Ryan. Guys who are borderline out of control play for Rex Ryan. Manning won't want to end his career on that note.

I think they're a reasonable possibility. Football town that's serious about it. But again, how competitive are they?

Chiefs give Manning flexibility, the freedom to do what he wants, and the best all round team around him. The only people who could screw this up, is ownership and Pioli . If they are passive in their approach in pursuing Manning then **** those motherfuckers for real.
Manning has to be looking at the Chiefs as a great opportunity. Weak division, went to the playoffs last year with Cassel, and almost made the playoffs this year with more knee injuries than Gale Sayers and Billy Sims combined. You've got a 6+ ypc running back, a 1,200 yard receiver for Matt Cassel, a first-round rookie entering his second year, and Breaston playing the slot. Then add in a good defense and a football town that brings it to the stadium. I honestly think we're his best chance to get back to the Super Bowl, and he knows that he can come here and own the town. That's not going to happen in a Miami or a New York or an Arizona.

Trust Vegas money.

Going from a 50-1 down to a 4-1 takes some legit information to force that much of a swing.

We have the money and roster to compete and the AFCW would be nearly a guaranteed playoff spot each year he would play for us.

CMON CLARK, write that open check for PM and dump that cheap moniker.

It's a prop bet. Vegas only cares about not losing money. They don't give a shit about even betting on props.
