I’m confused. In those 2 gif/clips earlier he runs into the hole that the opposing RB is trying to run through and tackles him behind the LoS. Is that allowed???

I had to google it but appears they are called tackles for a loss. Here I was thinking the linebackers couldn’t touch the rb until he had already gained 5 yards.

CTE has changed the game so much that players don’t know how to tackle cause they don’t scrimmage or practice tackling for fear of concussions.. I went to my nephews 8th grade football game last week and most of the kids had no idea how to make a good tackle.. asked my bro in law if they practice tackling or scrimmage he said they did very little of that... I know 8 th grade football can’t be compared to the pro game but I think you can see the affects of just game contact..
