The Surratt kid can play. I love his story too.

QB to linebacker..no wonder he seems to always know where the ball is going!

Yeah. A guy like Diablo or even Tyree Gillespie in the 5th or with the 4th comp pick would be awesome and could step in for Sorenson right away.

Watch Gillespie’s tape against Alabama and Florida.

Kyle Pitts had like 1 catch for 6 yards against Gillespie.

Against Alabama, he had 3-4 “stops” stops of Najee Harris in the hole, (including a few goal line reps that saved TDs), and he also brought down Waddle multiple times in the open field (chasing to sideline/killing angle). And he isn’t a liability dropping into CF, either.

I’m a Mizzou guy, but this isn’t Mizzou homer speaking. He was Mizzou’s best defensive player. Better than Bolton.

I decided to take every trade down offer I could get, just to see what would happen.

Honestly, it didn't turn out badly.

Would be an incredible haul. That's how I started out thinking in the one I ran with Toney, Myers etc is that I'd trade down once every time it was offered in a round but after a couple rounds and the way the board was falling I'm like holy damn hell hahaha.

I really didn't address LB but the offense gets instantly better with Jordan and Wallace and a developmental prospect in Johnson. I also managed to address OT and IOL depth with potential future starters (Jordan could be one as well I guess) and possibly a starting center.

On defense, I got enough edge help to have a healthy competition, have tons of depth, AND replace Frank Clark after 2021 if I want to get that money back.

It wouldn't ever happen but yeah, it turned out nicely.

This one I'm following some of the speculation I've seen from various talking heads...calling it a "realistic" draft for now.
