Only mentally fragile people are the idiots that make everything political.

I would guarantee Butker is tremendously more mentally strong than you could ever dream of being.

Fry was at least on a practice squad, so he was working as an NFL kicker in practices. Hopefully, it's only for one game and I'd rather get that one game out of him in the friendly confines of Arrowhead than on the road in Cincy or Denver.

I suspect it's going to work out fine.

The one "benefit" (for a lack of better word) to testing positive now is that players/staff who test positive will be removed from the NFL's testing pool for 90 days... which basically means they are good to go through the Super Bowl.

Chiefs should make up fake positive results for Patrick, Hill, and all other highly important players and then have them test negative two days later so guarantee we are good for the playoffs!

So, depending on weather conditions, anything between the 50 and the Steelers' 35 is definitely 4-down territory. Not sure I would attempt a FG anywhere outside of the Steelers' 25, actually. Forecast for Sunday is sunny and 66 degrees, but could be a bit windy.
Can we really not find better than this? Josh Lambo is a 31 year old free agent right now, correct? Can't we bring him in? Pretty sure Andy won't kick him.

If Lambo were really worth a look, he wouldn't be sitting at home right now.

Plus he's got that Bears stink about him. Was brought in to replace Parkey after double doinking kicks but couldn't beat out Eddie Pendejo.

Sounds like the Chiefs just decided to go with who they believe to be the most accurate short range kicker they could find. They’re just conceding that they won’t be kicking longer field goals this week. Either punt or go for it.

That would make me more nervous as a Steeler fan. 3rd and long won’t be about picking up the first down, it’ll just be about setting up an easier 4th down. That’s really tough to defend. I’d rather the Chiefs settle for long field goals.
