Would love for Chiefs to find a "deebo", would Burks be the closest in this draft?

I can feel myself going a bit loony when it comes to Christian Watson.

I hope somebody takes him ahead of us so I don't have to make some prediction that will haunt me years later.

He’s starting to get some buzz at 22 to the Packers.

I think that would require London and Wilson and Olave and Williams all being off the board by then, which is possible.

I could also see Dallas being intrigued, though if they go WR and Burks and Watson are bother there, the Joneses will go with the Arkansas guy.

But man, I think Garrett Wilson could be REALLY good.

For many/most it seems like there isn't a clear #1. Wilson is mostly the consensus guy, but it's faint praise. He's considered a little better than the rest.

I'm not sure I see it that way. I think he might be a LOT better than the rest. Put him in last season's draft and I'd take him ahead of everyone but Chase. Very good agility, very good speed - EXTREMELY powerful for a guy with his athletic traits.

He could be what people thought Watkins was going to be before he got hurt. Staylor is fond of comparing Burks to AJ Brown but I think I see Wilson as being that guy.

He's the potential All-Pro in this draft, IMO.

He’s a great prospect. I don’t even bother talking about him though because he’s the one WR that I think has absolutely no chance to even make it into our range.
How far would he have to fall for you guys to entertain trading up?

If he got to the mid teens and I could do it for our second 3rd or something I’d pull that trigger

If I ever see a post of yours that DOESN'T involve giving up draft picks, the world will end.

I know

It’s kind of tongue in cheek at this point but on a serious note, I’d gladly trade an end of the round third to go up and get the preferred pass rusher or wr

The end of the 3rd picks would get us up to the 24 - 26 range.

It’s not a highlight vid, it’s a recap of his full game vs Alabama so you can see everything he does, not just the highlights.

Second one was highlights.

Our second 3rd wouldn't get us anywhere close to the teens. It would get us to about 24/25.

I'm just awfully opposed to trading up. If someone comes along willing to let us brutally murder the draft pick value return - sure, I'll consider it. But I'd rather brutally murder someone in a trade DOWN.

I want this draft used to stockpile depth and competition across the roster.

I’m a fan of a trade down into the mid-high 30s that includes a swap of 3rd, moving one of those towards the top of the round. Something like 37 and 68 from houston for 29 and 102 is pretty sweet.

Yes. Comps are tricky but Burks reminds me of Deebo.

To Atlanta for 43 and 74 has been something I've found myself taking in the mock sims.

Green bay for 53 and 59.

Then I'd probably even take that 30 and see if the Lions would do something like 34 and 66 for it.

Both would 'beat' the chart but that's kinda what I mean. I'm fine moving down if we're getting some surplus value in the exchange.

Who are you taking at 29 if you’re trading down?

Ojabo? Jones? Wyatt? Williams?

And since this is a thread about Shenault….I’d rather trade for him and then take a WR in the 2nd like Tolbert or Pierce….than draft a WR at 29 or 30. And I’m definitely not trading up.
