So who the hell are we rooting for, the Bills or Bengals?

This might be one of the oddest games to try and pick a side and I'm not sure yet who to root for.

On one hand we have gotten beat 3 times by the Bengals and I would like a game again at Arrowhead to finally get the monkey off our back.

On the other hand the Bills are not playing great football right now but on a neutral field with turf they are fast. They also want revenge from us knocking them out last year.

So make your best case on who I should root for.

Did I ask for Reid to be fired?

Nope.

Once again, your reading comprehension and staggering attention to detail just impresses the shit out of me.

I simply stated I wouldn't be surprised to see an Andy Reid team lose a game they are favored to win, and just because we SHOULD win, doesn't mean that we will.

Now you can get up in your feels, get redassed about it, but in the NFL you are what your record is. He's lost more games as the favorite than any other HoF coach.

It's not like this season has been devoid of head scratching decisions on the part of Big Red. Incessantly trotting out Skyy Moore to screw up special teams, not taking his points and playing scared of Buffalo (both coaches guilty this game, but coaching down to McDerpitt? Come on) and trying a 56 yard fg to tie in cincinnatti when the right call was to give the ball to Pat and try to go up 4 with little time remaining.

Anything is possible. He could come out with his magnum opus, call a flawless game, and then you and other rabid Reid defenders will come onto the board and take your I told you so shots while fapping yourselves into dehydration.

Or....

He could go full Andy and we are left scratching our head the entire offseason on how and why a 22+year HoF head coach failed his pop quiz on situational football.

Personally I hope you all have to buy stock in Gatorade to fend off said dehydration, but Im prepared for either outcome.

You get points for not asking for Reid to be fired? Did I claim that you said that? Can you read good?

It's a brilliant observation of yours that just because a team SHOULD win doesn't mean that they WILL win. I actually didn't know that's how sports worked. I'll definitely file that one away for the future.

And I also never could've imagined that the NFL head coach with the 4th most playoff games coached would have the most losses in which his team was favored! This is astounding! I would much rather have George Wilson who coached the Lions to a 2-0 playoff record in 1957 because he was UNDEFEATED in the playoffs!

Playoff games coached:
Belichick 44
Landry 36
Shula 36
Reid 35 (36 on Saturday!)
Gibbs 24
Knoll 24
Holmgren 24

Wow. Such an argument on your part.

Changing my mind. I'll take BUF, simply because Josh Allen has started to become a turnover machine. Iirc, he's turned the ball over more than any other QB over the last 4-6 weeks, something like 14 times. Burrow does not have this issue, so from a purely opposing QB POV, I'll take BUF and Josh Allen giving KC extra shots at scoring.

32 Turnovers this year not counting fumbles his team recovered.

Well yeah, because a fumble that his team recovers is in fact not a turnover, and therefore would not be counted.

Wtf??? Have we not beaten them every time when it mattered?? They had us beat, with 13 seconds left. And then Mahomes did what he does. You think we’re not equipped to stop him? The Dolphins depleted defense gave him one hell of a fight. Do you think our defense is worse than theirs? I’d say us and the Bengals are the only 2 teams equipped to beat the Bills.

Reid's been the favorite more often than just about any coach and he did that with Donavan McNab. But I agree that at times --during big games -- he's like a deer in headlights. Normally that shit happens when there's a crises (players and other coaches fighting) or there's a family crises. If the Chiefs can avoid that bullshit I like their chances. When Reid is calm and in his element he's a savant.
