Pats Cheating Comfirmed

According to the report, the league sources say the NFL determined 11 of the 12 footballs used by the Patriots were under-inflated by two pounds per square inch each. Per NFL rules, footballs are required to be inflated between 12.5 and 13.5 PSI and weigh between 14 and 15 ounces.

Inconsistent is rather generous, actually. It's more like completely random. He puts his finger in teh air, or maybe takes a poll of a few owners, and then does whatever the hell he wants. Neither logic nor precedent nor the rules have anything to do with what he decides. Didn't get a blowie from the missus in a week, more punishment for you!

It's why a strike/lockout is pretty much inevitable. The NFLPA can't live under a completely arbitrary system of punishment.

Shut the hell up. Brady doesn't give a shit about labor laws nor did he care about the CBA before it affected him. He just didn't want to miss any games.

The media drove the Brady is a crusader bullshit hype. All of Boston sports fans can **** off!

Pats finally got a decent punishment for all their bullshit.

errr...sure. That's why he was the lead named plaintiff in the NFLPA's antitrust lawsuit against the NFL back in 2011. He cares only about himself.

The more you talk, the stupider you look.

But I'm sure Goodell didn't think about that for a second when he handed down his insane punishment.

Here's what you need to understand, you ****ing reerun -- Goodell could have levied ANY punishment. ONE YEAR suspension. FIVE. LIFE.

Same result. Goodell has full power to do whatever he wants. If you think that's great, good on you. If you liked the Chiefs' ridiculous draft pick forfeitures for tampering, great. Enjoy life under God-King Goodell, your hero.

Sorry but the Pats will still be in the playoffs, and you're still going to have to deal with them being in the hunt in the AFC for a few more years yet.

Ah, interesting. NFLPA may still appeal, but they're not seeking a stay. So Brady will serve the suspension, but the NFLPA may still appeal.

Quote:
Here’s the official statement from the NFL Players Association: “After careful consideration and discussion with Tom Brady, the NFLPA will not be seeking a stay of the four game suspension with the 2nd Circuit. This decision was made in the interest of certainty and planning for Tom prior to the New England Patriots season. We will continue to review all of our options and we reserve our rights to petition for [appeal] to the Supreme Court.”

Look at how mad you are bro. Need a hug from Roger?

The CBA gives Roger the power to do what he did and you stupid Patriots fans just don't accept that. The CBA rules all players even your liar QB. Name one player that didn't serve their suspension, you can't because there are none. Why the hell should Brady be so special as to get out of his? There is no need for proof in the CBA, just suspicion. Roger had it and he put the wood down that he should have out down 9 years ago. The Pats organization deserves this so screw off.

Just amazed at how dumb you are.

Quote:

That's debateable. Despite overwhelming precedent in favor of upholding arbitrator rulings, 2 out of 4 federal judges that reviewed the situation ruled against Goodell. That is kind of amazing, actually. That's how bad Goodell's actions were. If they were even close to reasonable/logical, it would be slam dunk for the NFL.

But unfortunately for Brady and the NFLPA, 2 out of 3 of those 4 judges were on the appeals panel, and that is all that matters at the end of the day.

Quote:

Name one player that was ever suspended for an equipment violation. You can't because there are none.

And that is the point -- even under arbitration the system is supposed to have logic, procedure and certain basic rules of fairness. Goodell danced the line with all of it, which is why 2 out of 4 judges would have overturned his ruling.

I could get inot the details, but first, it's a bunch of legal crap, and second, you don't care anyway. Your keen intellect doesn't go beyond "Pats Bad, Punishment Good!"

So much wrong it makes the head spin. Not worth my time. But Jesus, "just suspicion". WTF...

Or the completely arbitrary and unprecedented punishment for a crime that science proves didn't even occur. Probably that, actually.
