We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.

Packers should definitely be motivated to add a big name via trade after the Mack debacle.

I think Ford to GB is fairly inevitable. Hopefully we can get 44 at least.

Hopefully Mike Smith is talking Ford up to be a must have player, and GB gets a deal done.

I actually think they should be looking to add guys like Ford who can have a great impact immediately. Rodgers doesn’t have long.

Part of that is true but we also need to get rid of him so we can sign some players in free agency

I'm disappointed to see Ford leave. He looked happy to stay with the team and sign the franchise tag and he had a great season last year.

God I hope the high pick speculation is true, I’ve been having nightmares of a third equivalent to a comp pick, but being happy just to get it a year early.

Not really in this case. If they wanted to keep him long term, they absolutely can. They obviously don’t love the fit in this defense and they probably don’t trust his long term health prospects.

He’s been healthy the last two years but agree that no one knows how he would do in a 4-3

That’s funny coming from them considering Rodgers salary. The bigger issue with Ford is I don’t think the Chiefs believe his performance in 2018 is sustainable. He has injury history. 2018 seemed like a typical “contract year” performance.

Ok, so we cut Houston, Berry, say we Trade Ford to 49ers for #36, and we pick up Carlos Hyde...

We should have like $30m+ available and x5 picks in the first 3 rounds...that's not bad.

How to spend money and picks?

Packers will probably be the trade tbh. Niners run a 4-3. The exact reason why he’s on the trade block
