The Best Show on Television... Entourage
This show fuggin Cracks me up. Maybe Im just sheltered because I dont watch TV much, but I started watching this show midway through season one, and freaking love it. Its about this young movie star and his brother, and two friends from New York, and his rise to stardom... Tonights show was at the Sundance Festival, where Vince's latest movie Queens Boulevard was a huge success... plus Turtle and Drama double-teamed this Peace Corps Chick and accidently "crossed swords". heh. funny shit. [Sorry Gochiefs, but they didnt show that part] Freaking Ari Gold, played by Jeremy Piven is fuggin unreal in this show. He makes it. Here is some cool extra footage. Anyway, if you have HBO on Demand, check it out... its great TV. http://www.hbo.com/entourage/ Last edited by teedubya; 06-26-2009 at 05:01 PM.. |

Seems like the shows are progressively getting shorter and shorter and shorter.
This one ran from 9:05 to about 9:27......a whopping 22min episode.

Historically, the first episode of the Entourage Season hasn't been good.
Season 3: Aqua Mom? Lame Season 4: Welcome to the Jungle? Felt like a stupid documentary. Season 5: Fantasy Island? Okay. Not great but not as bad as the others. |

I thought it was a good episode. It was a set up for whats to come i guess. The thing with Turtle and Drama at the end with the fish was awesome.

The Turtle and Drama duo are comedic gold too, " Aquaman is back!"

But, yes, typically their first episode is not the best.

It's not like it was a let down like this episode was. At least from my pov. Of course, like I said, I think the time between the last episode of last season and then this FINALLY starting really killed it.

I just re-watched this episode and I thought it was really good.
SPOILERS: We find out that Johnny's show has been on the air for more than 2 years (54 episodes), so he's a bonafide TV star. Turtle finally gets laid, Eric's got three clients and a secretary and Vince hasn't had a legitimate film offer in more than 6 months. Add to that, the classic Johnny Drama revenge ending. I liked it! |

Umm, wasn't it Bowow, Anna Farris, and Vince?

I loved the first two seasons but since then it has gotten progressively worse. At this point it just seems stale and recycled.
Weeds blows this show away IMO. They aren't afraid to keep the series fresh. I understand they are two different types of series but if you aren't going to change things up you may as well call it a day after two seasons. Artie has gone from my favorite TV character to flat out ****ing annoying. |
