The only irony in rooting for the Jets because the other teams were conservative down the stretch, is that the Jets themslves are being extremely conservative in this game. They are just pounding the ball on the ground and keeping Sanchez's risks to a minimum.

Which will be their undoing. They should have went for the kill when they had the chance. Conservatism will not win in the playoffs. You have to take chances.

I'm not in the anti-Sanchez crowd, but reality is that Sanchez does have a better team. He's had a better team all along. They're (much) better on defense, they're better on the offensive line, they're better at receiver, they're better running the ball (in a general sense, Charles as a individual may be better than Jones or Greene, but he's not better than Jones and Greene, collectively), they're better in virtually every conceivable way that a team can be better.

I was actually disappointed with Sanchez in 2009. I expected him to be better than he was with what he has around him.

Palmer best play so far is to hand off to Benson or throw long and hope for a flag. He has been not very good minus a 4 yard TD pass.
