That's what you call rationality. I'm not going to stick to a view if the evidence later overturns it.
Dude....

You were all hella emo because of w/e state the team was in at that moment and you wrote about it.

That's it. Just accept it and move on. You're fooling no one.

I don't think I've denied that. What exactly is it I'm trying to fool people with?

Calling that an "article" and not just an internet meltdown as most definitely fooling yourself.

Swing and a miss, my ass.

You essentially offered a truism and qualified it to the point that it meant absolutely nothing.

Congrats. And really, we're all very impressed by your willingness to stand behind it.

I'm not going to post an opinion and stand behind it no matter what could happen to prove it wrong.

That's exactly what you've done.

You're opinion was flat out wrong and here you stand, seizing on the one line you put in there that essentially allows you to say "well, I guess none of this mattered" and trumpeting it as though it somehow changes the fact that you were talking out your ass.

You were ****ing wrong - spectacularly, ridiculously wrong. But you feel like you can throw a caveat in it and then come point at it three years later and say "look guys - nailed it".

Just eat your shit and move along.

Direckshun is one of the best. This post however, is one of his worst takes. That said, we should make it a sticky because its the perfect display of fandom. A bunch of Chicken littles thinking the sky is falling. Dorsey has proven himself to be one of the best GMs in the league. Some just didn't want to give him any room for error. Honesly, I can't really find fault with much he has done.

We wouldn't be fans if we weren't complaining. It's part of the job description.
