Brown can play, and produces in a specific role.

The bigger question that comes with him is that he has always been labelled as a freelancer, is not very coachable, and is disruptive in the locker room. The brass must be weighing this given the signs that the Chiefs defensive locker room sounds fragile right now. Could they deal with an outspoken player walking in right now who is not guaranteed to buy into anything presented him by coaches and teammates at this point?

This is the guy, iirc, called out the Redskins DC for running a simple scheme.

Truth be told, any 43 zone based scheme is going to be simple for QB's to read.

You can only imagine the complaints that Brown will have playing on this D.
