He laughed for the entire half inning when Fredbird was ironing his jerseys out in Big Mac Land.

And it was still less stupid than his clear belief that if he just kept saying "advanced metrics" eventually he'd convince people that Adam Wainwright has had a Hall of Fame career.

He's been really bad. I truly think he's drinking again.

Do you remember his infamous "look at that bench!!" abomination? Happened years ago.. I know guys that are STILL pissed off about one of the greatest comebacks in team history because of his concluded call of the game.

I'm going to make Butters a thing outside of my Cardinals board.

He got that nickname over there probably 15 years ago when Anthony Reyes kept getting starts despite being bombed and all Brad Thompson ever did was get ****ed around despite far better results in the minors and majors.

So it became a gag about the episode where Butters Stotch from South Park was at the NAMBLA meeting just constantly at risk of getting nailed. Mostly just a joke about Thompson getting butt-****ed pretty routinely by the organization.

And thus the most absurd yet fitting nickname was born.

My buddies call him Butters as well and have no idea why. You don't have to know why - it's just a perfect damn nickname for that goof.

The inheritors of Jack Buck and Harry Carey legacy are for shit. Edmonds is the only announcer worth a crap. The rest are trash.

And then you see an entire park full of black people protesting armed to the teeth and not get shot at...

Imagine standing for something and making Jacob Blake one of your poster boys. ****ing reeruned.

When the numbers skew towards equitable justice the outrage will subside. That just seems logical. Whataboutism doesn’t really ring effective as an argument if you are blind to the facts.

Oh and f the Cubs!

There is no whataboutism here.

Floyd was killed by a racist pos who decided he needed to kneel on his neck for 8 minutes, or whatever it was, after he was already in cuffs. I can understand why people are protesting his death, certainly not to the extent it was taken though because it makes absolutely no sense to burn down a Walgreens.

Blake was shot because he was a pos himself and has a problem with authority. White, black, brown, yellow, orange, purple, if you think you can have the cops called on you because you are a domestic scum, resist arrest and wrestle the cops, manage to break free and ignore a taser, then open your car door with guns drawn on you and a cop pulling you back, then you deserve every bullet coming your way. Not every cop wakes up in the morning and sets out to kill a black person that day. Too many cops have died because they didn't pull the trigger under those circumstances.

Now this cop is most certainly going to get death threats, lose his job, have to move his family, and all for a 100% justifiable shoot.

The numbers show that black people are disproportionately represented in the criminal justice system, but the numbers also show that black people commit a disproportionate level of felony crimes/homicides.

That's about all I'll say on the matter because there's an entire forum to talk about this if you dare enter the cesspool.
