Yep, same here. Plus a lot of the time I'll jump back and watch a play 2 or 3 times to key on individual players, so seems like I'm always a play or two behind and don't want the next play spoiled. Usually just catch up during the next commercial break.

About an hour into the game I got a PM from one of the resident "The refs are out to get us" posters calling me a bitch and acting like they had been proven right.

By the end of the game there was a 6 yard difference in penalty yardage. The Chiefs got some every lucky calls their way and non DPI that very well could have cost us the game. Of course they weren't throwing flags on DPI for us either. You can bet your ass you will never convince them the refs weren't slanted against KC though.

Just shit officiating all the way around and all the flags just disrupted the rhythm of the game completely and is part of why it was just so damn ugly to watch.

I usually watch games alone, so I always sign in to CP...but no more. I can't take the bitching...and the fact that between Over Air, cable, streaming...people comment on shit that happened like 2 minutes ago. It makes for a very disjointed conversation. Stresses me out.

I'm not gonna be found in a GDT...until next time I log in to one...

I tend to agree, but the Colts game was taken away due to some sort of vendetta against Jones. DLinemen talk garbage the entire game and nothing happens. This one appeared personal.

It's almost as if people are expecting the GDT to be a place where moustached gentlemen sit around a fireplace in their smoking jackets and have a civilised debate about the intricacies of the play calling. In every forum I've been in for other sports the GDT is a place to wild out, call your own players dogshit, kick off that the ref is biased and relentlessly troll other posters. It is what it is.

It’s why I don’t think I would ever go to a game at a “chiefs “ bar. Especially a crowded one.

It’s one thing to vent frustration.

It’s another thing to do it literally every game, take no ownership for it, and then bomb the inboxes of people who disagree with you with angry PM’s and then disappear after Patrick’s inevitable transcendental comeback win.

I've actually watched a game at a Chiefs bar in Chicago called Toons. It was a blast and everyone was pretty positive.

I pretty much don't go out to see many Chiefs games because I'm way too excitable to be in public.

But it can be a lot of fun. When I went to see a couple games with the local Phx CP crew I had a great experience, and the second time w went to a Chiefs bar here in Scottsdale. Really a great experience.
