*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

I thought Pat did really well tonight outside of that HORRIBLE pass to Hardman on 4th and goal. That was one of the worst passes I've ever seen...

The INT was just a GREAT ****ing play by the bolts lineman.

That said... I'm really sick of this 1-read design play bullshit that is becoming predictable. Let Pat have multiple reads and improvise. That is what he is best at doing.

PS: Our screen game sucks.

He tried to rush the Hardman throw when he didn’t have to and didn’t get a grip on it. Strange stuff by his standards (and maybe the worst throw I’ve ever seen him make given the situation), but it happens to the best of them. He even had further adversity after that with that great defensive play on the INT, but he bounced back as the best always do.

The throw wasn't as bad when it was easier to see Chris Harris closing in. Still bad but Pat has thrown worse passes.

Terrible throw, but a bad decision on 4th and inches by Reid. 30 yard throw or run it up the middle? Even with Joe Montana in his prime, Bill Walsh very likely runs the ball up the middle. You have Blake Bell who is huge and really good at the QB sneak. But no, Andy wants to do a 30 yard throw across the field.

I don't really care about Skip's opinion. I know what it's going to be every damn time.

However, I'm not beyond drinking haterade and giving these assholes clicks. But it isn't going to be for Skip.

Nope.

I want Mangini's fat failure of an ass.

I want to see him on Nick Wright's show and hand wave the game away with a stupid sarcastic reply about how one game means more than 8000 years' worth of games that Brady has put up.

I'll tune into that show and the ones that don't do clickbait. The others can go remain ignored, though.

Mahomes decided he was going to create by getting the ball, making sure he knew where Bosa was, then scrambling around to break defensive coverages down.

Guys were running wide open because no defense can hold coverage that long and he flipped the game into his comfort zone where Mahomes became a point guard in basketball.

I suspect Mahomes is just going to do more of it this year. He's clearly frustrated when the offense bogs down and he was in his own head, thinking too much early.

I didn’t have a lot of faith in our running game tonight so I do get the call myself even if it wasn’t my favorite. If Mahomes executed the throw, it’s a touchdown anyway.

Who knows what Skip’s real opinions even are, he’s a well paid TV troll that takes anti LeBron and Mahomes positions to make “good” television.

He's paid to be a heel with takes that will get him clout.

Skip could care less if he makes terrible takes, posting his takes is exactly what he's looking for.
