*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Saw all that. All while they show throws they are jerking too that Patrick has done over and over and over and over again.

If you remember the talking heads said that Mahomes is so good they'll eventually get numb to it after Chiefs' Super Bowl win.

Been my overall thought about all this less QB coverage. Mahomes is, well, Mahomes. What else can you say?

He did look right at Haden before he audibled. And Haden just happened to have those shoulders turned to the inside when PM saw it (he came out of it almost immediately).

So yeah - he might've seen something there. If so he processed it immediately and made the call. Hard to say really unless he was already looking for the reaction he got from Haden (which would've been something he noticed in film study).

That's my take on it too.

He did a great job of very casually changing the play without making too noticeable what he was reacting to.

Defenses will get out of a call if they think you've got them licked.

Looks like they flooded the other side with DBs and they were not coming off it no matter what.

Just really impressive film study, coaching and execution. We are blessed.

Haden is about cooked.

Though to his credit, I thought he was done about 5 years ago when those leg injuries took away his top end speed.

He really did well to reinvent himself and recovered for a couple years of top flight play that I certainly never expected.

The whole Steelers D looked slow as molasses. I think they took Big Rape's advice and just went out there to have fun.

Josh Allen is still prone to shitting his pants when his team needs him.

One win against the feckless Patriots doesn’t take that away

I must have missed when Josh Allen won the regular season and Super Bowl MVP’s.
ESPN hates the Chiefs for some reason. They must have forgotten Allen playing like shit against the Jets and Falcons to end the season.
