What the ****!? Has there ever been a trade announced and the compensation for one team wasn't announced until almost 4 weeks later?

I've come to peace with the fact that we are most likely getting fleeced for Peters, but the fact that we are entrusting a likely rebuild of the defense to Bob Sutton makes me sick to my ****ing stomach as a Chiefs fan. I'll never be able to enjoy a playoff game until after the fact with him running the show.

If the compensation is true Marcus Peters can **** off and I hope his career somehow gets ruined. The dude had to be the biggest cry baby ever because he wanted to play closer to home. Get a grip dude and be a professional.

I think most players just say good luck you will be missed. Generic stuff. This has been discussed before.

Players have no power in trades. They went for the money in the CBA. The NFL offered more money/slice of the pie for more tags of players.

Players wont publicly diss a team unless they are on the way out or no longer want to be there. You become a "problem" on a team, you just lessen your value. Their restraint on social media is unbelievable consistent, especially since they are all alpha males.
