It’s time to move on from Andy

It’s that simple.

Did you run here to start a thread before the 2nd quarter had even started though?

With typical Chiefs playoff issues, I don't think it was out of question to be upset.

There was still a lot of time left, but I think anyone is lying to themselves if they didn't have a little back of the mind, "oh ****".

That punt looked like it was doing something similar.

Can anyone who was at the game give a first hand account of the punt? Did it suddenly just die on Hill?

Hill attempted to catch the punt directly in front of me. It looked like a normal punt. When I watched it again on TV it appeared Hill jumped back to give him room to catch it and return, but his foot slipped a little...

Obviously but if you looked at it objectively you know we could score fast and everything had been kind of fluky.

We were down 21-3 halftime of the AFCCG last year and had the lead in the 4th.

I was a little dumbfounded but honestly wasn't worried about a loss (yet) because they turned it around so fast it never seemed too far out of reach.

Patrick ****ing Mahomes baby.

It’s not like we were down 24-0 in the 3rd quarter and Reid wasn’t adjusting to what they were doing.

The thread and the idea were/are ****ing stupid.

14-0 at the half.

But that's a bit different than 24-0. Objectively, at the end of the first quarter, it looked like another chiefs vomit.

Oddly enough it wasnt some of the mistakes that bugged me IE: The blocked punt. that happened vs the Colts in the playoffs last year too.

Lost in the whole cluster **** was the defense looked like mid Octobers defense for a few drives at the beginning. That's what caused me to panic.

Watched the game with my daughter. She had been so excited for the game all week. No idea where all the interest in the Chiefs came from this year from her, but man she loves Mahomes.

She got so upset watching them get down early - just like I used to do at the end of every single year. At 14-0 & 21-0 I told her that it was still extremely early and this team could score quickly. We weren't out of it. Had a lot of anxious energy so I turned the game on in the bedroom and folded some laundry while watching.

Right before that 4th & 1, my daughter went downstairs and put on her Mahomes jersey and came back up. I was hoping they didn't go for it. I knew they'd get it and eventually get another score. But they kicked it. Then the big return. Then all the TD's.

I was anxious, but never upset. Like you said, it was just a comedy of errors. Everything that could go wrong, was going wrong. The dropped passes ticked me off most, but that has nothing to do with coaching.

My daughter takes credit for the win for putting her jersey on. Says she'll make sure it's on before the game this week.

I was certainly nervous and concerned, but I never thought to blame Andy.

Realize how much ****ing money Andy has made Clark. This was a franchise that was in the lower rings of the league, Andy shows up in 13, by 2020 they have the best young franchise QB in the league and are hosting back to back AFC champ games at Arrowhead.

Andy could literally clog the shitter in Clarks apartment at Arrowhead every day for a year with the biggest shits ever and be ok.

He's gonna coach in KC as long as he wants to. Chiefs fans should be happy.

And yes it was a disaster. The players weren’t ready and neither was ST’s. Get your players ready. Part of that blame is on coaching.

Nick Jacobs has been pointing out that hole in the ST’s coverage since the Patriots game and said Toub needed to fix that bc teams will try to exploit it. Well the Texans exploited it and got a TD.

That was 100% on Toub.
What does any of that have to do with having to move on from Andy because Kelce Hill and Robinson dropped passes/punts?
