Your right. Of course I hope all SEC teams win their bowls. It was the interview of the Georgia coach that kinda bent my halo.

Now, LSU getting into the NC game? I'd much rather have seen Georgia in there.
Now here is a fan with some sense. I disagree about the LSU/Georgia part, though. I think they got the right team to play against OSU.

Wait what.....KU doesn't recruit Florida and probably shouldn't......there's 3 huge schools there..not to mention the UCF's and USF's the whole SEC recruits that state and even SC will go down there for players...

Competing in that state isn't a good idea unless you have major pull.

This whole conversation is ridiculous. It's like the parties involved have never followed recruiting at all..which is no surprise.

I admit that I have never followed recruiting much, basketball or football. I'm just telling what I read (I think on Rivals a couple months ago) suggested that a couple of Florida recruits were interested. Nothing more, nothing less. I will tell you one thing that I know. Florida has a lot of talent. Football is huge there like it is in Texas. I don't have to be a recruiting GURU to know that.

Uhh..Kansas has exactly 0 commits from Florida.....yes there is a nice story on there that they are looking at a player from down there but odds are he won't go to KU.

SC pulled Mike Williams and Keith Rivers out of there and I'd tell you that SC very lightly recruits Florida. To act like KU recruits Florida because they have a story up about 1 player that likely won't commit to them and spin that like "oh you don't know what you are talking about" is frankly comical.

By the way Jeff Brinson is a 3 star recruit....

I know that by the "rules" they shouldn't be playing for the NC but, IMO, they would beat OSU and LSU.

That's not even mentioning Illinois, WVU, Rutgers and USCe (with Spurrier) which all get quite a few Florida players each year.

The statement was "nobody" was interested. KU has to recruit nationally, we don't have enough in-state recruits, and those we have we have to split with K-State. We focus on OK and TX, but that doesn't mean we can't go elsewhere. Why are you in such a tizzy? Is it because we're doing so well with three star recruits compared to your five and four stars? I didn't claim a pipeline to FL, I'm just responding to the "noboby" comment. By all means, go to a Trojan board, you really shouldn't be sullying yourself with the likes of us.

What? I wish the Rose Bowl had taken KU I WISH, it would have been a rape of brutal proportion.....

I'm sorry KU is not on the level of SC or Florida or any of those teams...

And you'd trade your class for ours in a heartbeat.

I didn't say I wouldn't, I'm just wondering why you're so nervous about the whole thing, like you're on the USC staff or something. I don't go to other school's boards comparing basketball recruits, telling them their program sucks and will never be on the elite level of KU, but for some reason, you feel the need to do so. I don't care if we're not "on the level" of those schools. This was supposed to be an 8-4 season at best, I'm thrilled where we are. I wish KU would have gotten to play USC as well. Hell, I probably would've gone to the game. By the way, I saw how you "brutally raped" big bad UCLA as well. You are all that (whatever that means by proxy of the team you chose to root for), I bow to your superior football-ness. The only thing I know right now, is that in the sport we actually did get to go head to head, beat you at your place.

Yes, Lzen, I'm sure that if some kid from Florida gets rejected by every team in Florida, the SEC and the ACC, but Kansas offers him a scholarship, he'll happily take it.

Feel better now?
