New mechanics? He's still dropping the ball below his waist, which is a no-no. His mechanics haven't changed at all. It's gonna be hard to do so when you've had the same mechanics and technique for pretty much all your quarterbacking life.

I think he's releasing the ball higher, but I could be wrong. I think it still looks kinda funky but I think he's not floating stuff quite as much.
