Prediction: Star Star Lotulelei

His heart issue will turn out to be nothing and the Chiefs replace Dorsey with Star.

That's right. Saying that Dee Milliner and Shariff Floyd are in that mix as the best player is pretty reasonable.

They are both projected in the top 5.

Maybe all three.

Geno has the chance to be really good if given a chance to groom him for a year and a half to two years....that provides the far greatest upside over another defensive linemen or a second corner with one year of starting experience in college or another left tackle.

I agree. We won't get a better idea of who the pick will be until 3 or 4 weeks from now when FA is over.

If we lock up a cb and a de in free agency I don't know what the **** we do on draft day. It sucks but with the way this draft sets up we may have to settle for a future type guy at 1 whichever way we go

Assuming we don't go Geno and land say Sean Smith and Canty.. I would take Patterson. That guy is a playmaker.. And we need some firepower on offense

Defensive linemen take time...we know this...what's the difference between drafting a defensive linemen that will need time to develop and drafting a quarterback that will, too...except that the upside for the quarterback is exponentially higher?

There isn't a Suh in this class...no JJ Watt.

I don't see a single pick that would greatly impact this team year one.

The pick just has to be QB.

They are looking at the big picture and throwing a first and 2 seconds at the position to fully solidify it.

(Please let this be true)

Every player in this draft who could go in the top ten, you can say well there is a guy we can get in the second who might not be quite as good but pretty close.

We really picked a great year to have the first overall pick

As much as we want that first pick to be a badass playmaker from day 1, there just isn't that guy in this draft at the top.

Based on our current setup, really, the only guy that could come in and start and make a difference day 1, is probably Milliner. But even with that you get into the whole "he's not worthy of the first pick" convo.

There isn't a player in this draft "worth" the first overall pick. There isn't a sure fire guy in the bunch. There is however a shit load of good depth in this draft.

We're going to get boned with value, but we are going to have to trade down and recoup that second rounder or sit tight and take a developmental guy at 1.
