Last playoff game at Indy, we got out-gained 437 to 126 yards. Horrifying. Thank god we have a real coach this time.

Albert-Allen-Hudson-Schwartz-Stephenson was only used week 12 v San Diego and week 13 v Denver. KC scored 66 points and allowed 1 sack.

It's really not.

It's hard for incredibly miserable people who think that if you're not winning a Super Bowl with a set group of players you like, then the season is a complete waste.

It's generally the ones that talk out both sides 99% of the time, too.

This season has been invaluable for me. My son is starting to watch football and the fact that the Chiefs were relevant and winning made him far more interested.

Your memory is pretty poor then - we had the early Saturday game against the Colts in 2006.

wasn't that the game that was 16-8 for most of it, one score game until the third qtr, when Herm and Solari kept trying to run the ball with that loser Larry johnson, who had chosen that exact moment to hit the ****ing wall??

How old is he? I got into football in '77, when I was 8 and the Cowboys won it all. My stepdad was a die-hard Cowboys fan and the Chiefs were terrible back then. I shifted my allegiance in the early 80s when Marv Levy started to make some noise.

Do not think that for one second these guys didn't think about 2010 vs the Ravens, or last year.

Alex Smith is hungry as well. He wants to prove that he can lead a team far.

I fully expect our defense to look the way at did for most of the the game vs the Ravens. They were hungry and played fantastic football. They are going to want to prove themselves. I fully expect Luck to be pressured in the pocket consistently.
I fully expect the offense to play with urgency throughout the entire game much like they did in the first half of both Denver games.

And I also expect Charles to run hard and with authority that we don't usually see. He wants this so bad and I don't blame him.

Indy knows we're not going to be the same team as last time. We aren't turning the ball over a handful of times.

Lets hope Ales doesn't quit like he did last game. Hopefully someone on the chiefs knows Indie sucks against the run.

Your game is on right before the Eagles game, so I'm going to watch every second to see how Andy Reid does in his first playoff game with another team.

One of my biggest issues with Andy Reid was that his even keel personality hurt the Eagles in playoff games. Never get too high or to low, caused the team to lack that "edge" in playoff games. That is just theoretical. Obviously, I can't prove the mindset of the players.

I thought he coached very conservatively in playoff games, and the players were tight. That could be a number of reasons. The Eagles lost 3 straight NFC Championship Games and when you keep losing, it kind of snowballs and adds tension to a situation that is already pressure packed.

Andy Reid's worst coached game in his career in my opinion, was a playoff game against the Saints several years ago. That one still haunts me, and he made some ridiculous decisions that I thought really helped the Saints.

This is a new team though, that hasn't won a playoff game in a long time, so I suspect they'll be pretty hungry and play a tough game for their new coach.

Should be a good matchup. I look forward to watching. I hope the Chiefs get out of there with a W.
