I'm not opposed to this because I'm not sure Ford is going to be a great fit in our defense with Spags.

That said, I have always thought pass rush is probably the second most important thing in today's NFL, honestly maybe as important as QB. We've basically gutted what pass rush we had, so it has to be a priority now or next year will probably not be a very fun ride.

It's probably even more important for us since this team is built on getting a lead for the defense. It won't be hard to go from a pass rush that is ineffective because we can't cover, to being able to cover but it doesn't matter because the QB has all day.

Lol people are mad that were rebuilding our D and that it will suck next year, like they were good or something this year. We almost went to the SB last year with that trash D. I guarantee our D is better this year than last.

I don't buy the logic that a 2nd next year is a third this year. It's a ****ing 2nd next year. And it will look like a 2nd when we have it.

A comp pick next year is essentially a pick at the top of the 4th round. So we gained roughly a round and a half by tagging and trading Ford rather than just letting him walk.
