Problems with xbox signing my son out of halo all the time costing him XP. I have all essential ports open as listed on portforward.com but he still gets booted from matchmaking often enough that it costs him too much XP to be worth it anymore. What the heck is up with the network on this. I have tried everything short of DMZing the xbox, that is reserved for the PS3.
Whats funny is that they say you should manually setup your IP on the xbox for better connections but when I do, I get a strict NAT setting. When I let the xbox do this automatically, I get an open setting. Whats up with that? The are the same IP address as well. Halo is an impossible game to play when you are constantly losing connection for no apparent reason. Ideas? Anyone?

So how can I stop getting so much lag in COD WaW? I upgraded to sunflower cable: GOLD...ya, I see no difference. Bought a new ethernet cable, the last one was pretty old. I use a lynxsus wired router, should I go out and buy a new router? Would wireless be worse, better or the same for gaming? I always thought wired would be better, but I don't really know. I clear my cache on the 360 a bit. Does installing the game to your harddrive help? I'm gonna try that. Basically I get really bad lag with online gaming, I'll shoot an entire clip into them and then I'm dead and none of my bullets even hit them. It always seems like I'm playing a full second behind everyone else, but yet it says I have 4 green bars when I'm online. I don't know, it's really frustrating. Any tips? better router make all the difference?

Anyone thinking about getting The Bigs 2? It seems to be getting good reviews. Paging KCXIV!!
I might go buy this, I never really liked sim baseball games, but an arcade style may be fun. plus I like to support a great developer like 2K sports. |

Weird. 2nd console was shipped back on 7/6. Checked the tracking. Showed it being checked in & then checked out in Wichita....probably 40 minutes from Hutch, but it shows that it is going up to Lenexa (3 hours away) then back to Hutch for delivery tomorrow.

They have a huge sorting facility in Lenexa...usually how things work. I've had packages come from the west through Topeka, only to arrive at Lenexa, and back to Topeka again.

Maybe I've never paid attention to the tracking much.

Anyone know if there is a list somewhere of player ratings for NCAA 2010? Or do I just have to wait until the game comes out Tuesday? I just want to see how badly they screw my team again this year.
