Announcers say dumb things all of the time. Whatever the flavor of the day is. The Big 12 is going to send at least 6 battle tested good teams to the Dance. I would not be surprised if 3 make it to the Sweet 16 and 2 make it farther.

KU will better for it in the end. Besides, KU easily handled UH the first time they played. Its going to be a rivalry going forward. They'll bring the best out in each other and recruit with each other in mind.

All depends on the particular ref crew and the opponent.

I think Houston is one of the favorites (and maybe the favorite) to win it all but it just takes one game where the refs are a little more whistle happy than they usually are in the B12 and that is that.

It could be. Physical teams get away with murder at home and all NCAA tournament games are on neutral courts so you aren't going to get as much of the benefit of the doubt.
