**** Official Royals @ Athletics GDT May 17 ****

We had a day-long layover-- let's ride this karma train into the night, boys!!

CHOO-CHOO, MOTHER****ER!
Spoiler!

YOUR KANSAS CITY ROYALS:
Pitching

James Shields, RHP
2-3, 2.48 ERA
Shields is having a tough time cashing in a victory despite pitching extremely well. In each of his last two starts, he's gone eight innings. He shut out the White Sox and got a no-decision and then held the Yankees to two runs and lost.

Extra Stats:
Spoiler!

Lineup
TBD

(oakland athletics):
Pitching

Jarrod Parker, RHP
2-5, 6.86 ERA
Parker issued a season-high four walks in his last start against the Mariners, but he limited them to three runs on just three hits with five strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings -- encouraging numbers for the struggling righty.

Extra Stats:
Spoiler!

Lineup
TBD

Even the A's commentators are saying Shields would have been unbeatable if he had ANY run support.
