I see some overly clever mod has decided to change my username and profile picture. I understand this is CP tradition of a kind, but not one I have ever participated in. I have never changed my username, and never will.

Nor will I participate on the board when someone changes mine. The mods are of course well within their rights to change my name, and profile pic and I am well within mine to "vote with my feet".

There was a thread on this before. Some kind of glitch had caused some usernames (including mine) to be changed. I posted something just like this, and of course had to pay the inevitable price when it turned out that it had nothing to do with the mods.

If this is in fact goodbye, then best of luck to the Chiefs whenever they play the Donx or Raiders. It's been a fun decade of discussion and arguments. And, of course, GO PATRIOTS!!

(Yes, yes, "wow, what a whiny crybaby." Bottom line, I don't mess with mods, couldn't even name most of them, and don't expect them to mess with me -- just as they haven't for a dozen years....until now).

I'm sorta surprised the place is still here. I figured when the massively popular Boston lawyer / Patriots fan up and left, everyone else would take their (deflated) ball and go home too.

Then again, I didn't make the top 100 posters of 2014 list, so that might've been a sign that I'm not as big a wheel around here as I thought....

You can change your own avatar back for the record. It's only usernames that only mods can change.

Other than that, don't think I can name any, though honestly it's more likely I knew at one point and forgot. Don't know and don't care who they are. I dont' get involved in discussions about how to manage this board.

It's jut a pet peeve of mine. I hate it when others change their name, and I've never changed (or will change) mine.

Ah you're the "evil" mod. Yeah, actually, I fine with what you did. My basic rule is mods do what mods do, and I do what I do. It's not my board, it's yours. You can do whatever you want, and I can leave whenever I want. Not difficult to figure out.
