Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon? Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? Part 2: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=293623 Last edited by Bearcat; 07-28-2015 at 06:06 PM.. |

IMO, those Taurus 1911's are one of the best values in the 1911 market. I've shot several and all have shot extremely well compared to the other lower priced 1911's out there. I really like them. |

Bolted my new safe to the floor today...w00t! Pretty simple: they have pre-drilled holes through the steel. Pop off a couple of plastic caps inside the safe, drill, lag-bolt, done. This fugger isn't moving anywhere

I have a Walther P22. I have a love/hate relationship with it. I have about 10,000 rounds through it. At 3,000 rounds I had to send it to Smith and Wesson to replace the extractor. It is a good training analogue, and it is hard to be upset when it has done as well as it has over this period of time. However, it isn't really a Walther. It is an Umarex gun with Walther's name on it.
If I were going to recommend a 22 pistol it would always be the Ruger Mk III which I own, or the Browning Buckmark, which I have shot extensively. They are the two best offerings unless you start talking about high end target pistols. |

Anyone considering a cheaper 1911 should check out Dawson Precision. They have entry level STIs for $645. These cheaper models are manufactured overseas, but quality-checked here. STIs are comparable, if not superior, in quality to Kimbers. And the ones manufactured here start at around $1,000, which will probably be my next purchase.

I came. Unbelievable control from a fully automatic weapon! Lighter than a M249 SAW. Why did they phase the Stoner 63 out? |

With all that being said, the price of your ammo was as good as it gets.
