Mahomes doesn't win every game. But in the big moments he always seems to come up big.

If you are shackled to Lamar Jackson or even Josh Allen or Joe Burrow, you're reduced to hoping that you will catch him on a bad day... in big-game situations where he never rarely seems to have a bad day.

Burrow caught some luck once. All the stars can align like they did against the Bucs, where the team has one hand tied and he's going up against one of the only players in history who's his peer. But that isn't going to happen very often.

Hence the recent spate of frustrations from other fan bases who think this just isn't fair.

Mahomes is just what Montana would have been if he had never been hurt, and had a cannon.

If that had happened, they laugh about the Parcells Giants.

The Bengals COULD have been our Giants but...Mahomes.

Only that organization brings him out after a timeout when they are down 17-7 after a turnover with a good chance to lose the game. Not at the beginning of the game, not at halftime, not when they are dominating, not when they made a big play and not when they are in a particularly close game.

Next time, they should bring out their legends as Mahomes is taking a knee in victory formation.

I just thought it was a bizarre choice. I get that he's a Ravens legend, but bring him out against a team he didn't win a Super Bowl with.

So I know it’s early, but it’s realistic we win 3 in a row.

I thought this as well at the time, but dismissed it, but it makes you wonder. It look like Lamar got his bell rung pretty good there.

He's full of shit as well in his statement today. After Patrick kicked his stand and asked him to move it, which you see on Video. He then doubles down and puts 2 balls and his helmet on the goal line. That's when Travis tossed those. Tucker is a little bitch, soon to be overtaken by Butker.

They turned out the lights to do this shit. Truely a chickenshit thing to do.

Allen is the only QB with a ceiling high enough to compete with Mahomes when Mahomes is playing great. He just can’t reach it nearly as often as Mahomes and is often still susceptible to not playing within the context of the game situation and what it calls for.

People continue to overrate Burrow because he got carried by his defense in one postseason run. He’s not clutch and shrinks almost as bad as Lamar in the playoffs.

Watching the highlights again, it looked like any time a receiver would put their hand up to signal they were open, Lamar would throw it to them. It happened on the triple coverage interception. The problem is that most of the time they weren't open. Lamar needs to actually read the coverage himself instead of tossing it up because his WRs think they have separation.

Zero touchdown passes in the 4th quarter of Burrow's Playoff career. I'm sure he will figure that out over time, but so far it HAS been an issue for him. His defense did some incredible stuff for him in the the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

In their Super Bowl loss, the Cincy defense only gave up 23 points to a Rams team that was torching everyone else that season. Burrow had a lot of chances in the 4th quarter to win that game and didn't take advantage. The Cincy defense took a major step backwards in 2023, but they still have a great DC. It will be interesting to see what happens for them in 2024 and beyond.
