Winston was a huge disappointment and a bigger douchebag to the fanbase.
Screw him in his pimpled ass. I don't care that he's gone at all. After 2-14, there are very few players I care if they are here or not. |

Ok after taking a deep breath. I like this move. Winston wasnt all that great and was clearly overpaid. He didnt look like the top RT in pass protection. He was the one that got Cassel hurt

This is the most fun I've ever had in an offseason as a Chiefs fans. Already tons of highs and lows.
I have a feeling our 1st round pick will be traded and we take a guy that we haven't been talking all that much about.

Great saving us 3.5 mil. We can do better. And Albert needs to calm down some

I don't think anything seals it until FA has run it's course. Dorsey said yesterday there are 6 to 8 players to consider. I don't think this move narrows it to two.

The injury concerns make sense if we are cutting him. Sure we save a lot on cap space with the release of Winston but again this seems like our front office is not crazy about dealing with a OT that may be injured or injury prone. Remember Coach Reid has been dealing with that issue for the last 2-3 years in Philly.
Also remember Reid likes OT's that are quality in pass protection first and foremost. Winston is a good run blocker but suspect in the pass protection. |

Brought it up somewhere else, but if we clear the space for it and it could be made work, I'd trade the first to the Jets for Revis and their first rounder this year. They wouldn't go for it, but I'd try.

Joeckel/Fisher are good enough for someone to trade up for but not good enough for us to draft when we need an OT?

Winston must have an injury issue that we don't know about, only reason to cut him. If they draft 1st overall for a right tackle they are ****ing idiots especially for the two turds they might want to draft. Jeff Allen could swing back to right tackle, he was a stud tackle at Illinois and it would be better than drafting on them and sign a free agent guard.
