I can’t remember who, but someone on local KC sports radio made a good point last year before (and that’s important) the Raider Christmas game. Might’ve been Petro? Which is surprising.

Whoever it was said that being the home team on a Christmas game can be a disadvantage. Most of these guys are the richest in their families, so they have the biggest homes and are hosting big family events this week. It can be a big distraction to have those extra people around and all the coordination that comes along with it. He said not the be surprised if the Chiefs come out with their heads somewhere else. Turned out to be true.

Whoever it was said he heard that from a former player who played on Christmas at home once. Former player said the whole team was distracted all week. Road team doesn’t have the same issue.

I think same thing is probably true for Thanksgiving & Black Friday. Chiefs were sleepwalking in both of those Arrowhead holiday games against the Raiders the last 2 years. I am hoping Pittsburgh will be in a tougher spot as the home team with family distractions for Christmas, while the Chiefs are on a business trip with more focus.

The mri was negative and he was allowed to go to the sideline without assistance and was out there moving normally with nothing I could see to help him. If it were a playoff game, he probably goes back in the game. I can see them suiting him up and playing him sparingly, in hopes of getting a lead early and resting him most of the game.

I hate the Steelers. Really, I hate every AFCN team, they're all dirty as all ****. I hope we prison rape them in the first quarter and they roll over for us and we can have a nice Christmas. Won't happen. They're a tough team, but that's what I'm hoping for.

I see a double digit win for KC today. Pittsburgh has not been a good team the last five weeks. Their running game is below average and their passing game is Pickens and moon balls. Bracket Pickens and they score 10 points. Chiefs win.
