@AdamSchefter: Chiefs are expected to trade CB Marcus Peters to the Los Angeles Rams, sources tell ESPN. Teams are in final stages of talks and barring an unexpected snag, the trade is expected to be agreed to as early as today.

@AdamSchefter: Marcus Peters to LA Rams trade is now officially agreed to, per source; cannot be processed until March 14. But Peters expected to be a Ram.

Its not that, but making a trade and then him being a problem and not resigning is not good for a team. Peters will take a deal with the Rams because its his hime.

2nd round value this year is a 1st round value next year. Id take a 3rd and 5th this year + conditional 2nd rounder next year that could become a 1st if he makes the pro bowl.

And that's the double edged sword isn't it. They said on draft day they could control him and they only got 3 years out of that claim. Andy thinks he can save everyone and sometimes at the end of the day a bad person is still going to be a bad person. They were never going to be 100 percent on all their red flag/character picks. One of them was eventually going to fail for what they were trying to do. It's human error, nobody is perfect.

If we seriously only got back a 3rd and 5th for this kind of hall of fame level production... wow.

Not hard to believe that teams don’t want a divisive player in their locker room that fights with his mother and calls her ****, in addition to jawing with fans and coaches,

Steve Smith always got into fights with teammates. I don't doubt you'd be ok with Sherman, but given the reaction to peters pre meltdown, can you imagine the fan reaction when Sherman speaks his mind? I hate to say it, but kc proved we aren't ready for that.

Well, getting an extra 3rd and 5th allows us to draft a punter easily. This will make the team more comfortable cutting Colquit and saving $, while at the same time still hitting on late round Tight ends, RB, and OL/DL

Could be a gamechanger

I don’t know how many times this has to be said.

Colquitt is a FA.

Eh, Sherman isn't really "out there." He'd be okay. He's not a Michael Bennett

Hard to even compare him to Peters. Just different kinds of people. And Sherm is a much better tackler

Kaepernick wouldn't work but honestly that guy wouldn't fit in anywhere anymore.

Anyone who's ever managed people has had a Peters.
I ran a 16 bay shop that ran 2 short shifts, 7 days a week. I had a so called Pre-Madonna who could knock out front end rebuild's, brake overhauls, bend exhaust, shocks, springs a lot faster than anyone else, with few comebacks. Preform almost perfect alignments too. Totally worthless on electrical. Tune ups, battery drains, lights not working.

Shop policy was, before he signed on, if you can't do the work then you turn over the ticket and forfeit your turn in line. He turned into a "Whiney Little Bitch" whenever he had to loose a big brake or ball joint ticket to the point nobody wanted to sell his tickets, get him parts, and other techs wouldn't help him out like they used to. no one would guide him in per policy, bleed brakes with him, because of his bad attitude of how he was getting ****ed by the system. That "Whiney Little Bitch" attitude got him transfered to a store that only did limited work and where he earned 1/2 as much and in trade, I found a "full service" tech and all went back to normal.

Peters taking a knee, riding bikes, put a negative rap on the whole team. I am sure players got tired of hearing about/ being asked about it. His "I am too good to tackle" bullshit probably went over like a rock with other players who came to work with the goal of winning, not muddying the water with politics. Toss in yelling at coaches, throwing flags, and the maybe **** word with his mom and it was his turn to go. He is not a fit with "midwest values" just like Dennis Rodman would fit if we still had the Kings.

I don't think this is a done deal, they may have come to terms but Peters agent and possible FA arrangements have to be met and we just got this a little too early, Lets not hope that the Chiefs through Peters under the bus and are going to trade him, right here, right now, no matter how bad the deal looks.

If you were Clark, reading as you know they do, would you listen to the fans and not conclude the deal just to get rid of Peters. Do you just flip the puter onto Skype and say " I'm out, I came to you wanting a burger with cheese fries and I'm leaving with soggy egg salad with fruit jello... Up the terms or we are out.

After a while, it was obvious why a talented welder was unemployed in the first place. His life outside work (drugs and alcohol), directly affected his work ethics and just general attitude toward leadership and coworkers. Over time, we were forced to let him go for the better of the line as a whole.

Although an entirely different scenario, this kind of related to Peters and the Chiefs organization. While Peters excels at his skilled profession, his attitude is detrimental to the team as a whole.

Sherman is one of the loudest voices in the NFL speaking to the very things Peters silently protested. I can only imagine the fan reaction after his first interview. Let's not act like the fans only started turning on Peters because of bad play. I still have to think his bad play is a result of fans turning on him, not the other way around.
